Fleming Appointed Head Coach of Eagles

Diamond Valley Eagles have announced the appointment of Jack Fleming as Head Coach of their NBL1 South Men’s team for the 2026 season.

Fleming returns to his junior club with extensive experience across representative, state, national, and professional levels. He spent several years coaching within Basketball Victoria’s High Performance Program, working with elite U16 and U18 athletes, and coaching with Victoria Metro before progressing to Head Coach roles with both Victoria Metro.

On the professional stage, Fleming was an Assistant Coach with the Tasmania JackJumpers from 2021 to 2025, helping guide the club to its NBL24 Championship. Most recently, he was appointed Assistant Coach with Melbourne United, joining Dean Vickerman’s staff ahead of the NBL26 season.

In 2025, he was part of the Australian Gems’ coaching staff, securing a Silver Medal at the FIBA Under 19 Women's World Cup. 

His appointment marks a homecoming for Fleming, who now returns to Diamond Valley to lead the Eagles into the 2026 NBL1 South campaign.
