Fennell Set to Lead Again

As the Hawks start to build towards a big season, Fennell has been a "do it all type" player for the Hawks now for 155 games and will again be a focal point for new Coach Damien Smith and his staff.

With an ability to play inside and outside, Fennell will provide the Hawks with explosive scoring and also that veteran leadership that the younger Hawks players can call on at any time. Fennell has always been known as a fierce competitor which has made him a massive part of 3 Hawks Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

 

"He is a great teammate and quality human." Hawks Centre Shaun Clarke said.

"He keeps it fun and is always on the guys to stay focused on the task when the pressure is on."

 

Fennell is the Hawks second key signing, joining Clarke in the Hawks frontcourt but more announcements will be coming in the lead up to the season tip off on the 2nd April.
