The Eagles' offence was powered by Samantha Simons, who delivered a game-high 26 points on 50 percent shooting, including three triples. Maddy Freer added 17 points while controlling the tempo at both ends of the floor. Forestville's defensive pressure proved decisive, forcing 26 turnovers that they converted into 27 points. The Eagles were efficient in distributing the ball with 22 assists compared to the Mavericks' 15, with Jess Simons dishing out seven dimes to go with her 12 points.
Despite the loss, the Mavericks showcased their shooting prowess from outside, connecting on 14 three-pointers at a blistering 56 percent clip.
