Deng Kuany signs with Goldfields for 2021 NBL1 West season

The Goldfields Giants have announced the signing of Deng Kuany for the 2021 NBL1 West season.

Kuany is a 6’7 forward who recently finished a two-year stint in college basketball with Eastern New Mexico University. He played 52 games in college before graduating in 2020.

Kuany recently played for the South Sudan national team in FIBA African Championship Qualifiers and he may be returning to Africa next month for some additional national team games before joining the Giants preseason.

He joins Tom Atkinson, Julian Pesava and Dion Collins on Goldfields men’s roster for the 2021 NBL1 West season.
