Cougars present contract to youngster Hickey

The Cockburn Cougars have signed 15-year-old youngster Jess Hickey to their NBL1 West team for the 2021 season.

In an emotional moment, Hickey was presented her contract by club great Fleur McIntyre. You can watch the presentation below.

Hickey joins Emma Burke, Haylee De Sousa, Jesni Cooper, Kahlia Morgan, Kiera Dunhill, Matilda Muir, Nicole Roberts, Sally Graham, Tia Morgan, Jessie Edwards, Taylah Simmons, Olivia Bassett-Scarfe, Ruby Benn, Molly Mathews and Jodee Sontay on Cockburn’s 2021 roster.

The Cougars season tips off on Friday April 16 against the Rockingham Flames.
