After a well-deserved couple of weeks off for our Junior Miners it was time to get back on the court which saw our teams win five games.

The under 18 girls had a very hard-fought win against Altona with only one point separating the two teams at the final siren, Jemma Amoore and Laila Lappin both contributed strongly in the scoring front with 13 each.

The under 16 boys 2 also had a very close game against Coburg coming right down to the wire. It was a slow start for the Miners which had them on the back foot from the get-go.

The second half saw the momentum swing and the Miners came charging home but unfortunately Coburg we're able to hold on for a two-point win. Ethan Drever led the way scoring 11 points for the team.
