The Keilor Thunder overcame the Bendigo Braves 84-77 on Saturday night at Red Energy Arena Bendigo in a hard-fought NBL1 clash. The Thunder found their rhythm behind Isabelle Bourne's dominant double-double performance, as she tallied 29 points and 12 rebounds while adding five assists and two blocks. Maddison Rocci provided excellent backcourt support with 27 points, nine boards and seven assists, helping Keilor force 20 Bendigo turnovers which they converted into 10 points. The Thunder's defence was particularly disruptive, recording 11 steals to Bendigo's five. Despite the loss, Bendigo had balanced scoring with Cassidy McLean leading the way with 18 points and six assists. Poppy Blanch added 13 points including three triples, while Ashlee Hannan and Taisheka Porchia contributed 12 points each.
