The Waverley Falcons have confirmed that Bec Cole will return for 2026 NBL1 South season, in what will be a fifth-consecutive stint at the club.
Cole has enjoyed plenty of success at the Falcons, winning the NBL1 South championship in 2024 before guiding the side to victory at the 2024 NBL1 National Finals on the Sunshine Coast.
Her efforts earned her a place in the National Finals All-Star Five, and she was also named MVP of the Championship Game after she dropped 33 points in the Falcons' dominant victory over the Bendigo Braves.
The two-time WNBL champion was immense once again last season for the Falcons, despite a serious hamstring injury in January which threatened to derail her season. She averaged 22.5 points, 5.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.7 steals for the year.
While she didn't take to the court for their championship defense at the 2025 National Finals in Canberra, Cole will be determined to guide the Falcons back to the event in 2026.
The NBL1 South 2026 season tips off on Friday 27th March 2026. For all the latest updates, including player signings, coaching appointments and league news, make sure you’re following NBL1 South on Facebook and Instagram
