The Bearcats dominated from the outset, building a lead that grew to 44 points at its peak. Olivia Levicki put together a stellar double-double with 22 points and 11 boards, shooting a sizzling 57 percent from the field. West Adelaide controlled the glass with a commanding 60-36 rebounding advantage and dished out 22 assists compared to South Adelaide's 12. The Bearcats shot 45 percent from the field while holding South to just 28 percent.
Despite the loss, South Adelaide showed glimpses of potential through Ashleigh Spencer, who led her squad with 14 points and seven rebounds. Hannah Gardiner added 12 points on efficient 71 percent shooting from the field. The Panthers struggled from outside, hitting just 23 percent of their three-point attempts while being outscored 44-18 in the paint.
