Battle of the West Launched

Basketball Ballarat have launched a new initiative with the inaugural Battle of the West to take place on Friday 9th of April the 2021.

The event will feature the annual Fan Day and Practice Game together and be known as Battle of the West when the Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners and Selkirk Ballarat Rush take on Mount Gambier thanks to Stockland Wendouree.

Supporters and Members will be able to meet the 2021 Miners & Rush Players ahead of the NBL1 South Season within the activation zone from 4-6pm. 103.1 Power FM will be broadcasting live in the activation zone along with many other family friendly activities for all to enjoy thanks to a range of sponsors!

The Selkirk Ballarat Rush will then take to the court with Tip Off at 6.00pm when they take on the Mount Gambier Pioneers in a major hit out before the start of the NBL1 South Season. From 8.00pm the Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners will hit the court as they take on the Mount Gambier Pioneers to round out the double header on the night. 

Due to Covid-19 Protocol, the Ballarat Sports Events Centre will require the event be ticketed. All members receive complimentary entry and general admission tickets will be available soon via Ticketek!

• 4.00-6.00pm - Fan Day Activation Zone
  6.00pm - Selkirk Ballarat Rush vs Mount Gambier Pioneers
  8.00pm - Hotondo Homes Ballarat Miners
