Another really close game that we were on the wrong side of. We fought hard with a very young line up but just lacked some poise and control in crucial stages. Definitely a winnable game. Layla Iglesias was incredible and really stepped up and led fr the front. Indy Hayes worked hard in her return from niggling shin injuries.

First time having Jemma Amoore and Milly Sharp in the Youth League uniform for the season. Jemma went crazy in the second term scoring 15 points. Milly was also very impressive.
It was a good all round team performance with everyone playing solid defence and contributing on the offensive end. It was an increase in the margin when we met them just a few weeks ago. Very pleasing win. The girls really embraced the Anzac ceremony before the game and looked inspired from the first whistle.

Ballarat 95 - Keilor 78
This was a really solid road win for us, we knew going into this game Casey are a very good team and as this was our first game without a number of players who are in the NBL1 team. This game would set the tone for us moving forward.
As expected it was a tight game the whole way through with Casey opening up an 11 point lead halfway through the 4th. the last 5 minutes our guys dug deep and stuck to what we do best with tough defence, getting stops and filling the lanes to put the pressure back on Casey.
Jackson Talbot was outstanding for the Miners with his first 30 point game for the season while Oliver Lindablad also stepped up hitting 4/4 from the 3point range.
This was a really solid win for us and moves our record to 4-1 to start the season which is a great start to our 2022 season!
