The Bankstown Bears secured a comfortable win over Norths Bears 86-70 on Saturday at Bankstown Basketball Stadium. The home team's balanced attack saw multiple contributors on both ends of the floor, with superior ball movement making the difference.
Bankstown dominated the assist category 21-5, moving the ball efficiently to create high-percentage looks. Charlie McBeath was electric off the bench with 21 points on 58 percent shooting, including three makes from outside while adding four assists. The home team shot a solid 49 percent from the field compared to Norths' 32 percent and were perfect from the charity stripe (13-for-13).
