2022 Coles Express NBL1 South Fixture Released

The Coles Express NBL1 has today unveiled the NBL1 South fixture with the season to tip-off on April 21 with our Ballarat Miners taking on regional rivals Geelong Supercats on Saturday, April 23 at Selkirk Stadium.

The Coles Express NBL1 has today unveiled the NBL1 South fixture with the season to tip-off on April 21 with our Ballarat Miners taking on regional rivals Geelong Supercats on Saturday, April 23 at Selkirk Stadium.

The Ballarat Miners will again play all home games at Selkirk Stadium hosting eight Saturday night games and three Sunday afternoon games for the season.

Our blockbuster games include our season tip-off against Geelong, followed by our Round 8 Mental Health Round game against Hobart where all NBL1 South teams will again wear the statement orange Lifeline socks.

Round 11 will see us host First Nations Round against new to the league Keilor Thunder while round 16 the final round of the regular season will see us take to the road for our only major road trip of the season with a game in Mt Gambier on Friday night before returning to Selkirk Stadium to face regional rivals Bendigo on Sunday afternoon.

Chair of the Basketball Ballarat Senior Elite Teams Cameron Moore said “We are really pleased with the balance of the fixture, hosting our regional rivals in the first and last game of the season is a great way for us to start and end the regular season”.

Moore added, “Our Sunday games are great opportunities for families to come along to a heated Selkirk Stadium and watch some great basketball”.
